IRONMAN France - Nice, Côte d'Azur MMX
On 27th June 2010 I am competing in the sixth Ironman in Nice, Côte d'Azur with a group of friends from 14AC, in order to raise money for the humanitarian medical organisation Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). The months of exhaustive training will be called upon during the day itself to complete the gruelling Ironman course: 2.4mile swim; 112mile ride; 26.2mile run The total distance we will cover is 140.6 miles so I have set myself an ambitious fundraising target of £1,406 to raise for MSF.
